of South African Timber Marketing's poles comply with the SABS 754:1994
specification, our plants are adaptable and can offer poles treated
to most specifications. Pole origin and species South African Timber Marketing's poles are manufactured from Eucalyptus (Gum) Trees. Poles and logs are soured from FSC accredited plantations only. Strength All of our transmission and telephone poles are tested to withstand a fiber stress of 55mpa. ( 75mpa if so required ) The average modulus of elasticity is 1500 to 17000Mpa. Inspection Our poles are tested to the methods and procedures outlined in the SABS 754:1994.Poles can be cut, drilled, planted, wire bound and finished to the customers specifications. |
